It is an honour and a privilege to extend my greetings to all the stakeholders, business associates, customers, employees and visitors to this page. At the outset, I would like to express my gratitude to all for unwavering faith that has paved the way for me to lead this esteemed organisation.
As we embark onto 2025-26 filled with challenges, enthusiasm and opportunities, I would like to take this opportunity to share a few noteworthy updates with all, reflecting the collective efforts and achievements of the entire BDRCL family and its Associates.
BDRCL has emerged as a PPP model in development of Rail infrastructure and successfully commissioned the 67.7 km broad gauge electrified singleline section between Bharuch-Chavaj and Dahej Port for providing seamless connectivity to the customers for reaching out to various destinations throughout the country. This has also contributed in saving carbon emissions. BDRCL is also a debt free and profitable company, a testament to our dedication and the unparalleled support from our cherished customers and Business Associates. The Company also earned the rare appreciation of Ideal SPV Model of ‘Ministry of Railways’ by C&AG in the year 2020.
BDRCL’s business stream not only encompasses carriage of Container and Bulk traffic from the Dahej Port but also handling Fertilizers, Foodgrains, Furnace Oil, Salt, Cement & Fly Ash.
Our new initiatives have started showing results and BDRCL had carried a total of 4.40 MT traffic in 2024-25 and has generated a total revenue of Rs. 116.15 Cr. in this period. For this remarkable performance, on behalf of BDRCL, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude towards our stakeholders including Indian Railways for their constant support and encouragement.
Apart from contributing through capacity building and systemic improvements, BDRCL is also alive towards the social responsibility and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility proactive initiatives has been bringing about improvement in the lives of people in the area through its support in health and education sectors in its own small way.
The true strength of BDRCL lies in its complete orientation towards maintaining a robust rail infrastructure to provide critical logistic support to the industries in the region. I am honoured to be part of this remarkable BDRCL Team and am confident that we will embark upon even more ambitious initiatives in the coming years for further driving growth of trade and industriesin the catchment area of BDRCL.S
